Father and son were rescued by FACh personnel after one of them was injured in the Osorno volcano.
A helicopter from the Third Air Brigade rescued two men from the northwest slope of the Osorno volcano. One of them was seriously injured.
It is about a father and son who were doing a recreational activity, until one of them was injured and they had to call for help.
Assistance was provided by Parasar aviation commandos of the FACh, who descended in a Bell-412 helicopter.
The rescue occurred this Sunday afternoon, and it was through a hoist that they managed to get both men up.
The two were transferred to the Puerto Montt Hospital, where they were expected by SAMU personnel.
