Prague – Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS ) will visit the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, the government office announced today in a press release. In Abu Dhabi, he will hold talks with President Muhammad bin Zayed Nahyan and Deputy Prime Minister Mansour bin Zayed Nahyan. He will also visit the IDEX arms trade fair, which is attended by almost thirty companies from the Czech defense industry.

Fiala is heading to Poland today, in Warsaw she will take part in the meeting of US President Joe Biden with the representatives of the countries of the so-called Bucharest Nine (B9), which unites the countries of the eastern wing of NATO. The Prime Minister also plans a bilateral meeting with his Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki. Fiala will head to the UAE on a commercial flight from Warsaw.
Fiala will talk mainly about economic cooperation, energy security, but also about the defense-industrial cooperation of the two countries with the president and deputy prime minister of the UAE. After that, the prime minister will visit the IDEX international arms fair, which is one of the largest in the world.
