Lány (Kladensko) – Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS) will meet with President Miloš Zeman this evening for the final meeting before the end of his presidential mandate. The Prime Minister told Czech Radio Radiožurnál last week that he wants to say goodbye to him in his current role on this occasion. He believes that the relations between the government and the president will become easier with the inauguration of the elected president Petr Pavel. According to him, however, he managed to maintain correct relations with Zeman.

Zeman's second term ends on Wednesday. Today's dinner for Fiala and Zeman is their last working one. “It will be a dinner where I will also say goodbye to him in his capacity. We did it regularly and I think it should be like that, that the Prime Minister and the President talk to each other regularly,” Fiala said. At regular meetings roughly monthly, Fiala also agreed with Pavle.
