And starting today, you can also install the public beta of iOS 14 on a compatible iPhone. It just came out, and allows the general public to test the new features in iOS 14. There is also a new location called ” App Library “, where all the applications, and organizes them into folders, or by alphabetical order. And Siri has a user interface more discreet, which does not occupy the whole screen when making a vocal request.

But if the public beta of iOS 14 provides access to new features before the official release, it is important to remember that for the time being, it is a version that is potentially unstable. But by releasing this public beta, Apple can collect more user feedback, find bugs, and fix them before the official release.

Because of this, it is advisable not to install this beta on your primary device, the one that you depend on for work, for example, because of possible bugs. In addition to the public beta of iOS 14, Apple also released a public beta of iPadOS 14. The principle is the same : this beta allows the firm to test the new features that arrive later on the iPad compatible. Among these, there is support for handwriting with the stylus Pencil on the text fields, new design for Apple applications, such as Photos, Files and Notes, as well as new features for the applications in augmented reality.
