Access at certain roads is blocked due to the fire raging in the Lake Osisko sector, in Rouyn-Noranda.
A fire broke out in Rouyn-Noranda on Monday afternoon , around 2:30 p.m., in a wooded area between Lake Osisko and the bypass.
Six wildland firefighters were still at work as of this writing. lines, in an attempt to control the fire. A tank plane was also used.
The fire was detected by SOPFEU thermal detection planes.
None infrastructure is not at risk at this time, according to the organization.
