A fire completely consumed a house in Lautaro. The house was uninhabited and the police issued an alert after a patrol that was carried out in the sector. A canvas was found on the site that read “Freedom for political prisoners.”
An uninhabited employer's house was destroyed by a fire inside a farm in Lautaro, La Araucanía region.
The incident was discovered when police officers were patrolling inside the farm, specifically at kilometer 25 between Lautaro and Vilcún. It was there that they saw the smoking remains of the rubble.
Police personnel alerted the prosecutor's office, who ordered that PDI go to the place to carry out the corresponding expert reports.
At the site, a canvas allusive to the Mapuche cause was found that read: “Freedom for political prisoners”. This was confirmed by deputy commissioner Jorge Chavarría of Bipe Temuco.
Until nowthe exact time of when the fire occurred is not known because policemen arrived when the fire had consumed the entire House. What is certain is that it was without inhabitants.
Surrounding homes reported no damage.
