Prague – Offensive midfielder Michal Ševčík transferred from Brno to Sparta Prague. The 20-year-old footballer signed a multi-year contract with the league champions. Letenští presented the first summer reinforcement on the club website.

There has been speculation about Ševčík's transfer to Sparta since the winter break, the clubs officially confirmed the agreement only now. “It's been talked about for some time, so I'm glad that I joined Sparta. It's the next step in my career and a bit of a dream come true. I'm in the biggest Czech club with the biggest history, so there was nothing to think about,” said Ševčík .
The native of Třebíč scored nine goals and six assists in his first season in the top flight, and was one of the most productive players in the league. But the end of the season did not work out for him. Brno fell to last place and was relegated to the second league, Ševčík himself did not fit into the nomination for the European Under-21 Championship.
