This occurs a few weeks after some mayors reached the Regional Electoral Tribunal< /strong> (TER) to deliver the background information issued by the Comptroller’s Office related to the non-compliance with various rulings that former mayor Mauricio Viñambres did not obey.

Among them, that on repeated occasions he was told that he had to provide them with contracts, payment of contributions and the different royalties corresponding to plant officials, to the officials that he maintained as honoraries.

Councilwoman Carolina Contreras commented that the former community chief has every right to take the actions he deems appropriate, but the Comptroller’s opinion is clear in establishing administrative responsibilities.

Meanwhile, councilor Francisco Villegas clarified that they have not issued any insults, rather they have exposed concrete facts.

It should be noted that, when asked by La Radio about this situation, the mayoress Valeria Melipillán preferred not to refer to this issue.
