Research to find Gaetan Vallières-Brochu had been done in collaboration between his family and the Sûreté du Québec.
The Sûreté du Québec reports that Gaetan Vallières-Brochu was found healthy and except Wednesday evening around 9 p.m. He was in the Senneterre sector.
The man from Sainte-Gertrude Manneville, near Amos, had been missing since May 18.
Police found him six days later. On Saturday, searches were concentrated in areas suitable for fishing. The police were trying to locate the 43-year-old man's vehicle in order to deploy the teams to a more specific area.
The Sûreté du Québec helicopter had also been mobilized.
The officers located him in his vehicle in the Penetration Road sector in Senneterre, said Sergeant Nancy Fournier of the Sûreté du Québec.
