Prague – The average price of the best-selling Natural 95 gasoline in the Czech Republic has fallen by two pennies to CZK 37.38 since last week. Diesel then became cheaper by 11 pennies to an average of CZK 36.08/l. This is according to data from CCS, which tracks prices. A year ago, drivers paid CZK 7.83 more for a liter of gasoline and CZK 11.39 more for diesel. At this time last year, the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine was already significantly reflected in fuel prices.

The cheapest petrol is now in the Hradec Králové region. A liter there costs on average CZK 36.93. The South Bohemian Region pays the least for diesel, at an average of CZK 35.44. On the contrary, gas stations in Prague remain the most expensive. A liter of gasoline costs an average of CZK 38.63 in the capital, and a liter of diesel costs CZK 37.97.
Fuels in the Czech Republic have been steadily falling in price since the end of October last year. In the first days of this year, prices rose, then began to fluctuate. They are now falling for the second week in a row.
