It was in 1994. Just survivors of the genocide, Tutsi women are struck by horror for a second time. As soldiers, sent by France for a humanitarian mission called “Operation Turquoise”, arrive at the Murambi and Nyarushishi refugee camps in Rwanda, they are savagely taken from their tents in the middle of the night, then gang-raped, photographed, and many other atrocities.

Nearly thirty years later, they are engaged in , in front of the camera, and tell how French soldiers marked them with never by violence and atrocity; of their actions. Heartbreaking testimonies collected by the Franco-Rwandan writer and singer Gaël Faye and the director Michael Sztanke.
