Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut reissue released for PlayStation 5

Sony confirmed this Friday the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut (Director’s Cut), the new edition of the award-winning game from the studio Sucker Punch, which is now available on both the PS4, the platform on which it was first released last year, as for the brand new PlayStation 5.

Posted by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), The Revenge Story of the last samurai Jin Sakai is back with a optimized version for the fifth generation of consoles, not only graphically, but also in terms of additional content.

The release includes the entire game Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the digital content of the Digital Deluxe version, and the expected Iki Island expansion (DLC), as part of a new complementary story.

The protagonist Jin Sakai will visit this unknown stage to investigate rumors of the presence of the Mongol army and where he will soon be involved in dilemmas that will force him to relive traumatic moments from his origins.

Title maintains its original essence just like in the PS4 version. With an open world adventure game style, inspired by feudal Japan of the 13th century, the player will become a samurai with some graphics and visual style that evoke the movies of Akira Kurosawa.

This edition also brings several novelties in the form of new missions, enemies also different; although the most striking thing about this Director’s Version are the notable improvements offered by PlayStation 5.

Among them, a dynamic 4K resolution that reaches 60 frames per second, lip sync for Japanese voices, something that has been included thanks to “the ability of PS5 to render cinematics in real time”, the use of the haptic vibration of the DualSense joystick, less loading times and improved 3D sound.
