Jeddah – Czech golfer Klára Davidson Spilková is in 17th place after the first round of the Ladies European Tour (LET) tournament in Jeddah. With a score of -3, she shares the position with twelve other players.

The second Czech representative at the start, Jana Melichová, went around the course at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club on 73 shots (+1) and in the current 67th position will fight on Friday for the weekend continuation in the competition. The cut is currently expected to be at par.
Spilková made three birdies and only one bogey in her competitive debut this year and is five strokes behind the leading pair. Melichová scored four times, but in five holes she did not meet par.
At the head of the ranking are the world number one Lydia Koová from New Zealand and the Thai player Pađarí Anannarukánová. There are 120 female golfers at the start, they will play until Sunday.
