Johannesburg – Czech golfer Klára Davidson Spilková belongs after the opening round of the Ladies European Tour (LET) in Johannesburg tied for 12th place. The 28-year-old professional played -2 and is four shots behind the leader Lauren Holmey of the Netherlands.

Other Czech female golfers are in the second half of the standings and will be aiming for the final rounds on Thursday at the Modderfontein club course. The best is 65. Sára Kousková with a score of +2, followed by 88. Šideri Váňová (+3), 120. Jana Melichová (+6) and 130. Tereza Melecká (+8).
Spilková started the season on the LET circuit with a 40th place finish in Jeddah in February. There, she was seventeenth after the first round, then gradually fell down the order. Melichová finished fifth a week earlier in Rabat.
