In a recent blog post, Google has held to summarize the bulk of its announcements, and confirms the way that Stadia is now compatible with a new duo of smartphones. In fact, as of now, the owners of a OnePlus 8 or a OnePlus 8 Pro may also enjoy the joy of the video game ” made in Stadia” .
Remember that in most of the smartphones Pixel and OnePlus 8, Stadia is now compatible with many devices Samsung, but also with the Asus ROG Phone and Razer Phone.
The “Capture” now available
Google has also taken to confirm the arrival of a new function for Stadia : the capture of screenshots. In effect, the same as on PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch, Stadia now allows players to capture just one screenshot, or even to make a short video clip, by pressing the Capture of the rocker Stadia Controller.
Added to this are various small optimizations, such as the possibility to display a keyboard on the screen via the Chrome, support for 5.1, an icon to check the status of the connection… Google has already announced that Stadia will soon be enriched with new features and new games. The american giant has not indicated any information about the number of regular users of Stadia.
Remains to know now if the service signed Google will be able to compete with the consoles ” classic” , but also of similar services, to begin with the Project xCloud Microsoft, the preview is just starting in France.
