Prague – Hockey forward David Tomášek is leaving Sparta Prague and will play for Färjestad in the Swedish league. In the north of Europe, the twenty-seven-year-old Czech representative signed a one-year contract. Both clubs announced this on their official websites.

“I take foreign engagements as the next big challenge in my career. I am only saying goodbye to Sparta on a good note, I will continue to support the boys a lot and I believe that I will come back,” said Tomášek.
Sparta student returned to the parent club in October 2019. He left for the KHL two years ago, but did not play the entire season in Khabarovsk and strengthened Prague again before the playoffs.
