Prague – The hockey players of Zlín and Třebíč advanced to the semi-finals of the first league playoff. Zlín defeated Porub 2:1 at home in the fourth quarter-final match, won the series 3:1 on matches, and in their quest to return to the extra league, they will face the winner of the regular season, Třebíč, in the next match. Horácká Slavia completed the move to the top four teams thanks to a 3:2 victory in Přerov after separate raids.

After relegation from the extra league after 42 years after problems in the regular season, Zlín finally won direct promotion to the quarterfinals and despite the initial defeat celebrated after three consecutive victories. Adam Sedlák's foul on Denis Kindle, but the puck went off his stick and didn't even threaten Daniel Dolejš. The guests rejoiced at the goal in the 29th minute, after a shot by Patrik Urbanek, Tomáš Šoustal tapped the puck past Daniel Huf.

Třebíč, after the initial defeat against Přerov, also turned the tide of the series and completed its first advance to the semi-finals since 2015. Horácká Slavia took the lead in the 26th minute when Jakub Malý passed in front of the goal to a free Michal Vodný, who beat goalkeeper Michal Postava.
The bisons turned the situation around in the 49th and 53rd minutes. During Matěj Psota's stay on the penalty bench, František Hrdinka charged Robert Černá behind the left circle, who beat Pavel Jekel for the first time. When Matěj Novák was sent off, Daniel Indrák came through from the stop. Třebíč answered 127 seconds before the end of the third period, when Postava was overcome by David Michálek.
