In the financial year ended at the end of April, the company’s net sales decreased by EUR 1.8 million from the previous period to EUR 4.8 million, and the company made a loss of EUR 2.6 million.
“We had to to play in virtually empty auditoriums from December until the end of the season. Under normal circumstances, significant additional revenues from ticket sales and partner sales for playoff matches were not received, ” Santtu Jokinen said in a press release.
Employees in the company’s office were laid off for a total of 12 weeks. HC TPS Turku Oy received a total of EUR 685,000 in cost support from the State Treasury.
