Julienne with mushrooms and chicken – fragrant and delicious dish of French origin. However, to make it very simple, but traditional ingredients are available in any Ukrainian shop. To cook Julien on the regular dinner or on holidays, because the dish will decorate every table.

The word Julien (julienne) in French means “July”, first it was chop vegetables, and then became the recipe of a dish of mushrooms, meat and vegetables. Bake this dish in a special dish – the clay pot, but it easily can be replaced by a small ceramic baking pan.

The recipe of julienne with mushrooms and chicken

Ingredients:
– chicken – 500 g;
– mushrooms (forest or mushrooms) – 300 g;
– onions – 200 g;
– hard cheese – 200 g;
cream (or sour cream) – 300 g;
– flour – 2 tbsp;
– salt – to taste;
– pepper – to taste;
oil – to taste.

The recipe of julienne with mushrooms and chicken:

1. Chicken fillet boil until tender. Cool and cut into strips. Onions and mushrooms peel and also cut into strips.

2. Saute the onion in butter, add mushrooms and cook for 10-15 minutes to evaporate all the liquid. Add fillets. Add salt, pepper and remove from heat.

3. On a dry pan fry the flour. Add the cream, salt, pepper and bring the sauce to a boil. Add to the sauce mushrooms and onions and chicken. Stir and remove from heat. Grate cheese on a grater.

4. In a baking dish pour the mixture of mushrooms and meat, sprinkle with cheese. Put in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes until Golden brown. Shape do not cover. Serve hot.
