Ikea it has accustomed us to enter any sector that may concern furniture, and in a broader sense, the home. For this reason, for some years now, the Swedish assembly furniture company has also had a proposal for the photovoltaic, thanks to a close partnership with the specialist Wlmann. The Swedish name, che SOLSTRLE or SOLSTRLE PLUS.

On a specific section of the Italian site of Ikea It is possible to view the offer, with some configuration examples based on the number of people living in the house, with an estimate of possible consumption, and system sized accordingly. It starts from a 3 kWp system, consisting of 8 panels of 375 watts each, including inverter and installation. The cost would be 5,750 euros, but due to the 50% tax credit, which the customer can immediately transfer to the installer, Ikea offers an immediate discount on the invoice, bringing the cost to only 2,875 euros.

Then there are the cuts from 4.5 kWp and 12 panels (3,545 euros after the discount), or even 6 kWp and 16 panels (4,255 euros). To these cuts it is also possible to add domestic accumulation via lithium battery, with 5 kWh of capacity, which raises the price of 5,480 euros, but this too is discounted by 50%. For example, the top system, with also storage, would cost 6,995 euros.

In case of interest, Wlmann will take care of an initial feasibility assessment, then issue a quote, which if accepted will lead to installation and operation verification. All of which obviously comes with a 10-year guarantee on the panels, 5 years on the installation, and always 5 years on the inverter. The performance of the panels is guaranteed for 25 years, a time after which they will not stop working suddenly, but in which they will have a drop in yield, still continuing to produce for many years.
