The investment, funded by the authority regional transport, amounts to; 837 million euros, excluding rolling stock. In the meantime, new trains will be put into service at from 2027, according to IDFM.

Exploited; by the RATP, the Paris metro already has two automatic lines, the 14 (opened in 1998) and the 1 (the oldest in the network, automated in 2011-2012), as well as the 4 whose automation should be completed at the end of 2023.
