The 28-year-old native of Jablonec nad Nisou will not be allowed on the track due to a muscle injury in the rib area. Sports director Ondřej Rybář told journalists. “Jessica has health problems that don't allow her to race here and be 100 percent ready. It's not worth risking anything. We need to get our health back together now,” said Rybář.

Jislová had a role to play in the championship Czech doubles after Markéta Davidová and to be a stable member of the women's relay team. She is 29th in the World Cup standings. However, due to pain in the area of the intercostal muscles, she did not finish the January training in Ridnaun. She did not travel to the venue of the championship, and after Wednesday's absence in the mixed relay, she gave up participation today after consulting with the doctors.

“Jessica was determined until the last moment that she wanted to go to Oberhof. But she still felt and perceived the pain. Examination Professor Kolář confirmed that it would be better to skip the World Championship. This injury is treated in the same way as torn muscles. It's about calmness, check-ups and feeling like an athlete,” said the national team's physiotherapist Roman Karpíšek.

In addition to Davidová and Vinklárková, the Oberhof team also includes Lucie Charvátová, Tereza Voborníková and Eliška Václavíková. All of them will also take part in the Friday sprint, which will start at 2:30 p.m.
