As a reminder, in 2019, Samsung has launched a “Lite” version of the Galaxy S10. And because of this, it would be logical that the Korean giant also offers an affordable version of the S20, the top of the range which he launched in the beginning of the year.

The rumors about an affordable version of the Galaxy S20, began circulating a month ago, following the publication of an article on this subject by the site Sammobile. The latter had indicated that the device could be dubbed Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.

And this week, the same site publishes new information. A priori, for that this version is affordable, Samsung will have to sacrifice some of the technical data sheet. But obviously, no concessions will be made at the processor level. Indeed, Sammobile says in his new article that the affordable version of the Galaxy S20 will be equipped with the same processor Snapdragon 865. This means that the performance will therefore be comparable. In addition, Sammobile also explains that the Snapdragon 865 should be accompanied by a RAM memory of 6 Gb.

Of course, for the moment, these information are to be regarded with extreme caution, given that they do not originate from an official source. But in any case, given the current economic context, it would be possible for a model that is more affordable for the Galaxy S20 can attract crowds (since the prices are too high equipment premium).

In regard to the date of presentation, for the moment, it is in the blur total. Sammobile believes that the device could not be unveiled for several months, given that Samsung will have to first deal with the launch of other products, including the next Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Fold 2, and probably also an improved version of the Galaxy Z Flip that the mark of the Korean presented at the beginning of the year.
