Despite the COVID-19 crisis, Xiaomi is showing fairly good results. And this is partly due to its Mi 10 series, which is the brand’s high-end smartphone series for the year 2020. But while Xiaomi has already released many models for this category, the Chinese brand could still present new ones before the end of the year.
After the Mi 10, the Mi 10 Pro, the Mi 10 the Mi 10 Lite Zoom / Mi 10 Youth Edition and the Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi could soon lift the veil on the Mi 10T and the Mi 10T Pro. The brand has not yet teased these two devices. But according to an article recently published by our colleagues at XDA, these were recently leaked on a page of the Spanish site of Amazon (but the information has already been removed).
New versions of the Xiaomi Mi 10?
These “leaks” mainly reveal the design of the two smartphones, thanks to two renderings. A priori, compared to the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, the facade does not really change. We have a borderless type screen with a hole drilled for the front camera. On the other hand, on the back, we have a particular arrangement of the three cameras.
A priori, you might think that the Mi 10T and the Mi 10T Pro have the same main camera. But if you look closely, these renderings indicate that the Mi 10T has a 64-megapixel main camera on the back, while the Mi 10T Pro has a 108-megapixel main camera. And when it comes to pricing, the Mi 10T could cost 547 euros, while the Mi 10T Pro could cost 666.25 euros.
Otherwise, XDA also brings up a few features that would have been displayed on the page. According to this, the Mi 10T Pro would have a Snapdragon 865 processor, a screen with a sampling rate of 144 Hz, a 5000 mAh battery, 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. But the site indicates that we must be wary of this data, because it could be “placeholder”, that is to say information that has just been placed there to fill a location while waiting for the official data. .
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also heading for the mid-range
If its premium models allow Xiaomi to offer smartphones almost without concessions at the level of the technical sheet, the manufacturer also continues to expand its offer on the mid-range. For this year, its potential bestsellers including the models of the Redmi Note 9 series. But at the same time, Xiaomi offers the devices of the Poco brand, including the Poco F2 Pro which is a flagship-killer smartphone, as well as the Poco X3 NFC, an affordable smartphone, but whose technical sheet and design have been designed for gamers.
In this mid-range segment, Xiaomi faces competitors like OnePlus (with the OnePlus North), Samsung (with the Galaxy A51 as well as the Galaxy M51), but also Apple, which this year released an affordable iPhone. Added to this are brands like Oppo and Realme which have many interesting but affordable models.
