Prague – It will cool down slightly in the Czech Republic towards the end of the week, and meteorologists expect snow showers in most areas. It will be mostly clear to partly clear until Saturday, when it will gradually start to cloud over from the northwest. In the afternoon it will already rain in places, later it will snow. Mornings will remain chilly, with daytime highs between zero and four degrees Celsius on Sunday. This follows from the weekly weather forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).

“Today is another sunny day ahead of us. After a frosty morning, when in the north and northeast the temperature dropped somewhere below minus ten degrees Celsius, it will warm up significantly during the day even below minus 20 degrees in the Jizera,” said the ČHMÚ on its Facebook. Afternoon temperatures usually rise to six to ten degrees Celsius, it will be colder in the mountains and in places in the north and northeast, where after the weekend's snowfall there is still snow even outside the mountain areas.
Clear to semi-clear skies will last even in Friday, only initially in places, especially in the north and northeast, low clouds and occasionally freezing fogs will appear. The highest daily temperatures will be between three and seven degrees Celsius, up to ten degrees in the south of Moravia.
At first it will be clear to partly cloudy on Saturday, the sky will gradually cloud over from the northwest, meteorologists expect rain in places in the afternoon and evening or showers, later it should snow in all locations. The lowest night temperatures will be from zero to minus four degrees, rarely with little cloud cover and snow cover around minus six degrees Celsius. The highest daily temperatures rise to two to six degrees, in the south of Moravia up to eight degrees.
On Sunday, temperatures will drop further, during the day it will be zero to four degrees Celsius. Meteorologists expect changeable, mainly heavy cloud cover and snow showers in most areas, they should stop in the evening. The weather will be similar at the beginning of next week.
