Prague – The Czech Republic will get warmer and cloudier this coming weekend. Temperatures will rise above zero during the day. Meteorologists expect precipitation. It will first snow in the mountains, later it may rain in higher altitudes as well. This follows from the forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) and information on its Facebook page.

It will be sunny all day today. The highest daily temperatures will be zero to four degrees Celsius. Stronger winds can blow in the mountains. “Even during the night on Friday, however, cloud cover related to the band of clouds over northwestern Europe will begin to increase. It will not yet bring precipitation,” the meteorologists said.
On Friday, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy, especially in the mountains in the north and northeast partly cloudy. It will only snow occasionally. The nighttime minimums can still drop to minus ten degrees, but the daytime maximums can already rise to plus six degrees.
“A frontal system will only bring rain and, in higher elevations, snow until Saturday. At the same time, it will warm up during the weekend, so it may rain later on in the mountains as well,” said the ČHMÚ. According to him, the warming will be noticeable mainly in the morning, the hard frosts of the last few days will end. Sunday morning minimums will already be above zero.
Saturday's highest daily temperatures will be between two and six degrees Celsius, on Sunday between four and eight degrees. Similar weather is expected to last in the next week, it may gradually warm up to ten degrees Celsius.
