Prague – It will rain on the weekend, there will be snowfall on the mountains. On Saturday, temperatures can rise to ten degrees Celsius, in southern Moravia even to 12 degrees. It will cool down from the northwest on Sunday. This follows from the forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).

“On Friday and Saturday, frontal systems will move across Central Europe from the northwest, and especially on Sunday, cold air will penetrate us from the northwest,” meteorologists said.
It will be cloudy on Friday, with occasional rain from the northwest in most areas. The rain may be occasionally freezing in the northeast and east at first. At night, temperatures will drop to five to one degree, during the day they will range between six and ten degrees. On Friday and Saturday, a fresh wind will blow, with gusts of around 50 km per hour in places, gusts can reach speeds of up to 90 km per hour in the mountains.
On Saturday, it will be cloudy to cloudy, sometimes there will be rain, in the mountains showers will be more numerous. It will gradually snow in the northern half of the Czech Republic at altitudes above 800 meters. Day and night temperatures will be similar, between five and ten degrees. In the south of Moravia, however, they can rise to 12 degrees during the day.

Precipitation will decrease from the north in the evening. The lowest night temperatures will be between five and one degrees, the highest daytime temperatures will be between three and seven degrees.
