The match between the neighbors from the lower levels of the table was briefly interrupted at the end of the first half due to heavy snow. Jablonec scored full points at home for the first time since last October and jumped to 12th place. Teplice lost for the sixth time in a row in the league on the opponent's field and remain fourteenth.

The organizers managed to remove 15 centimeters of snow that fell on Jabloneck at the end of the week, but soon after the start of the game it started to snow again and the referee Orel let reduced visibility to replace the traditional balls with yellow ones.

The home team was already in the lead when Považanec easily got past the league's weakest defense and Sejk headed into the net after his precise cross in the ninth minute. He scored for the fifth time this season and against the club in whose jersey he made his league debut a year ago.

On the other side, Chaloupek headed just near the right post, but the football players from Jablonec had more chances on the deteriorating terrain. Even before the break, the referee interrupted the match due to heavy snow and sent the players to the cabins. The organizers raked and restored the lines and after eight minutes it was possible to continue.

The forced break did not benefit the Teplice footballers and their defense was not enough to stop the home team's attacks. Považanac's shot was still pushed to the corner by goalkeeper Grigar, and Chramosta headed wide after an independent action. But in the third minute of regulation, Chramosta ran away again, presented the ball to Polidar, who scored the second goal from close range and his fourth of the current season.

Teplice's coach Jiří Jarošík reacted to the unfavorable development at the break with three substitutions, but it did not change the picture of the game. In the 55th minute, the home team went to the goalkeeper alone, Sejk unselfishly passed to Chramost, the best Jablonec scorer slipped, but still scored his eighth goal of the season. In the top competition, he rounded his tally to 80 goals.

In the 66th minute, the referee awarded a penalty kick to Jablonec goalkeeper Hanuš's collision with Žák, and the Senegalese Gning converted the penalty into his seventh league goal. However, the guests failed to dramatize the match. On the contrary, Hübschman sent Sejko into a chance and he cleverly lobbed goalkeeper Grigar.

Teplice did not follow up on the 1:1 draw with Slavia and remain the worst team in the league on their opponents' pitches, where they scored only four points. Jablonec scored four goals in the league for the first time since May 2021, when he beat his opponent today with the same result.
