Jablonec nad Nisou – Jablonec football player Tomáš Hübschman is not done with his career even at the age of 41. According to the club's website, the former Czech representative will play for North Bohemia next season as well. Jablonec started the summer training without a head coach, the team is led by assistants. Striker Václav Drchal from Sparta Prague has recently joined the team.

Hübschman is a member of the Club of Legends of the Czech League for players and coaches with 300 or more matches in the highest competition. The experienced defensive all-rounder currently has 341 games and six goals to his credit. In the top competition, he is the second oldest active player after Josef Jindřišek from Bohemians 1905, who is 42 years old. In the past, he also worked in Sparta and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Coach David Horejš finished on the bench of the Jablonec team after the season and in 13th place in the competition. His successor is still unknown, the North Bohemians are finalizing negotiations with a new coach. According to media speculation, it could be Radoslav Látal.
The team is led by assistants Tomáš Čížek and Jan Krob, who has ended his playing career, during the fitness training camp in Břízky at the start of the training. The full-back played 287 matches in the top flight, scoring 11 goals. Oldřich Parízek became the goalkeeping coach.
Attack Drchal trains with Jablonec, who received permission from Sparta to train with North Bohemia. Last season, the 23-year-old played as a guest in Bohemians 1905, with whom, thanks to the fourth place in the table, he fought to qualify for the European Cups.
The forward Jan Silný and the midfielders Dominik Pleštil and Tomáš Smejkal returned to Jablonec from the loan. Earlier, the North Bohemians announced the arrival of five reinforcements – midfielders Vakhtang Čanturišvili, Alexis Alégué and Patrik Schön, forward Matěj Náprstek and defender Andrej Slávik. On the other hand, African defenders Joshua Akpudje and Ishaku Konda end up in Jablonec, both of them can look for employment. Another full back, Michal Surzyn, who will start training with Pardubice, did not participate in training either.
