Prague – Pardubice midfielder Dominik Janošek dominated the poll for the player of the month of the First Football League for the first time. Among the coaches, Spartan coach Brian Priske succeeded in February, following up on the triumph in November. The results were published on the website of the League Football Association, which manages professional competitions in the Czech Republic.

Janošek flashed three exhibition hits in the four rounds of February and helped Pardubice move from last place in the table. The 24-year-old former youth representative has eight league goals in his career, six of which he scored this season. Thanks to him, the East Bohemians lost only once in six games after the winter break.
In the fan poll, Janošek surpassed November winner Lukáš Haraslín from Sparta and Brno gunner Jakub Řezníček, who won in October.
Pardubice could also succeed in the coaches' category, but Priske beat Radoslav Kováč and Martin Svědík from Slovácko. In the spring, Sparta hesitated under the Danish coach only in the opening round in Olomouc (1:1), but won all four games in February. Letenští are now only two points behind the leader Slavia in third place.
