Jimmy Fallon is alive and well, no offense to the smart guys who tweeted the announcement of his death with the hashtag #RIPJIMMYFALLON. With his usual humour, the host of the Tonight Show made a point of; put things in perspective in his introductory monologue for the show.
“First of all, I am not about to die. I am in excellent health, I have a lot to do. live and I have two little girls. I’ll live a long time, so you don’t have to worry about me,” he said.
The comedian still pointed out ; his astonishment at not having received any news from his relatives in the face of this rumor that spread like wildfire.
“They didn’t think it was going to take off like it did. But then it just took off. People started to believe in. It’s just weird,” before singing the anthem “I am alive” accompanied of a gospel choir.
Elon Musk’s reaction
Before having to confirm live that he was indeed alive, Jimmy Fallon had asked help with Elon Musk, the new boss of Twitter.
“Elon, can you solve this problem? #RIPJimmyFallon”, he wrote.
But the billionaire, not keen on moderation and who fired brutally half social network teams, preferred kick in touch… The next morning, he replied “Solve what?” his turn.
“Wait a second, how do we know you’re not an alien body thief pretending to be Jimmy!? Say something only the real Jimmy would say,” At this level, it’s not just fake news that has a bright future ahead of it! We enter another dimension!
