It seems that Laeticia Hallyday does not in her heart, Catherine Deneuve… Close to the actress, the singer would not have appreciated a gesture of his wife to the one with whom he has maintained a friendship that has lasted fifty years.
Johnny Hallyday and Catherine Deneuve, have they been lovers ? Laeticia Hallyday, she had reason to feel threatened by a movie star ? In its latest issue, Paris Match title, in effect : “Deneuve and Johnny : the secret history. Revelations about a lightning strike that lasted 50 years.” Since their meeting on the set of the film sketches The women of Paris in 1961, Johnny Hallyday and Catherine Deneuve are complicit and have never failed to mark their affection for one another. For many years, Catherine Deneuve and Johnny Hallyday have even maintained a correspondence. Jealous of their relationship, Laetitia Hallyday would have posed an ultimatum to the singer : “it’s either her or me.” In order to ease tensions, the young couple was then left on a cruise to the Caribbean aboard the Only You.
If the rocker was crazy in love with Laeticia Hallyday, he would not, however, depart from his life Catherine Deneuve. As well, the actress was present at all his first in Paris and never failed to join with him in his dressing room to congratulate him. A presence that didn’t appeal at all to the mother of Jade and Joy… For Paris Match, a friend of the late singer has confided that Laeticia Hallyday would have been too far there’s over fifteen years old : “At a dinner organised by a small committee in 2003, Laeticia had invited Deneuve. But she had it placed in the end of the table. Johnny was not at all appreciated.” In spite of everything, the mother of Jade and Joy had invited Catherine Deneveux on the 67th anniversary of Johnny Hallyday, celebrated on a houseboat in paris, only six months after coming out of the coma in Los Angeles. If the rivalry between the two women is not a recent one, a knowledge of the two stars says, however : “There is no rivalry between Catherine and Laeticia. Catherine does not have the taste of social networks and prefer the cinema of author to meet the challenges of TikTok.“
Catherine Deneuve in the face of the death of the singer
If Laeticia Hallyday has long tried to remove the actor, the latter has, however, never ceased to send text messages to the singer. For his part, Johnny Hallyday has continued to send flowers to the home of the actress to congratulate her after each of his successes. It is therefore no surprise that Catherine Deneuve has struggled to recover from the death of his faithful friend : “Catherine was very saddened of his demise. It took him months to accept it. It is one of the most beautiful pages of his life, which was filmed on December 5, 2017.“
