Prague – Former President of the Supreme Administrative Court (NSS) Josef Baxa and former President of the Judicial Union Daniela Zemanová may not become constitutional judges. The Senate Constitutional and Legal Committee surprisingly did not support their nomination today. Today, only two of the ten committee members present voted for Zemanová, four for Baxa.

The Senate will make a definitive decision on the nomination of Baxa and Zemanová in a week, which will be preceded by a discussion in the Senate Human Rights Committee.
