After (very successfully) RingFit Adventure, Nintendo seems to have still want to get the owners of Nintendo Switch. After several weeks of confinement, many of them want to resume a sporting activity, and it is for this reason that Nintendo has just launched a new game, free, called Jump Rope Challenge.

A game… of jumping rope ?
As you might have already guessed, Jump Rope Challenge is a game of jump rope. According to Nintendo, this is a new application, very lightweight (less than 100 Mb), developed by ” a small group of developers from Nintendo from their homes in order to encourage the practice of sports at home. “
Obviously, no accessories additional here, since it is sufficient to detach the joy-con for the Nintendo Switch, hold one in each hand, and jump up and down by moving the hands in a circular fashion, in the same way as when one is holding a jump rope. On the screen, it is a little rabbit all cute, which is in charge of reproducing the movements of the player.
Like a true tool of fitness, Jump Rope Challenge is responsible to keep the data of the player, and it is even possible to set a goal of jumps daily. In this way, for example, you can make your little session of jump rope every night after work. It should be noted that the game features a two player mode, to perform the exercises with a friend.
Obviously, the Jump Rope Challenge is not a game that is available in cartridge format, and the title is only available through the eShop. The game is totally free, and will be available for download until the end of the month of September 2020. Sports activity requires, Nintendo recommends that players to warm up before playing, and possibly seek the advice of a doctor if cardiac risk in particular.
