Tallinn – Rifle shooter Veronika Blažíčková won bronze in the junior women's competition at the European Air Rifle Shooting Championship. The 19-year-old representative was already third in the qualification and in the eight-person elimination stage she was not enough for the later winner Anne Bakke Nielsen from Denmark and Audre Gogniat from Switzerland. 1.9 points separated the Czech hope from advancing to the final, she defended the bronze by six tenths ahead of the Serbian qualification winner Ljiljana Cvetkovičová.
