Final match of the Czech Women's Volleyball Cup: VK Královo Pole Brno – TJ Ostrava, February 16, 2023, Teplice.
Teplice – KP Brno volleyball players defended their first place in the Czech Cup. In the final, they confirmed their role as favorites, beating Ostrava 25:22, 25:15, 25:15 and winning the second most important trophy on the domestic stage for the seventh time in the club's history.

“I'm very happy that we followed up on the successes of last season, we were a little nervous at the beginning, but as soon as we calmed down, our players had the fate of the match in their hands,” said the thirty-six-year-old in a recording for ČTK Králové Pole coach Erik Nezhoda, for whom winning the cup trophy is the first major success in the role of head coach.
Ostravanky made it to the finals after seven years, at the beginning of the duel they put the Brno team under pressure with a service, but they did not support a good defense with an accurate attack. The end belonged to Králové Pola, in whose jersey reigned the Bulgarian all-rounder Nikolovová.
The third team in the league table from Brno calmed down after winning the first set, the basis of the win in the second act was based on quality service, which made it difficult for the Ostravankas to receive and thus and attack. The third set offered the same picture with an even bigger difference, in which the former winners of the Czech Cup dominated all activities.
“Brno won completely deservedly, they succeeded with service, that is, the activity on which we wanted to build our game. No one counted on our participation in the final, and despite the loss, it is a great success for us,” commented Ostrava coach Zdeněk Pommer on the final.
The current two best teams in the extra league table did not make it to the Final Four. The leader from Liberec was not enough for Olymp in the quarter-finals, the champion from Prostějov was eliminated at the same stage by the defeated finalist from Ostrava.
In the match for 3rd place, Olymp Prague defeated Olomouc 3:1.
