London – Tennis player Jiří Lehečka won the tournament at the Queen's Club. He beat former Wimbledon junior champion Alejandro Davidovich of Spain 7:6, 6:3 on London grass in the first round. His next opponent will be the better of the duel between the first seed Carlos Alcaraz of Spain and Arthur Rinderknech of France.

Lehečka was losing to his neighbor from the fourth ten of the world rankings after losing the opening serve, but he was able to turn the duel around. From 2:5, he won three games in a row, equalized and saved the first set with a 7:4 win in the tie-break. In the second set, the Czech No. 1 did not offer the opponent a chance for a reversal during her serve and celebrated her advance after an hour and a half.
