His lawyers, Mes Balthazar Lévy and Martin Reynaud, deplored the “the criminal qualification retained” against their client (incitement to suicide) because they believe that the victim has “decided; alone, freely and in his soul and conscience, to put an end to his days.” In the first instance, the magistrates had underlined the “moral demolition” suffered by the forty-year-old at blows of destructive messages.
A planned collective suicide

Before the investigating judge, the defendant admitted having told him on TV that he phone “Go ahead, jump”. The father of two had obeyed him and was then thrown away. in the void. At the hearing, the defendant had only expressed no regrets, no remorse. The victim’s brother said he was satisfied with the sentencing on Wednesday.
“My brother was a square, stable person and his life has changed. tipped when he met her. If we brought this story in court is also for the honor of my brother, of his children,” he explained.
