The sad message of the human friend for Maple’s death
Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my best friend. Maple died peacefully during the night while I held him in my arms. We have spent every moment together for over 12 years.
I adopted him from the shelter and the first time he saw me he jumped into my arms, wagging his tail and with a smiling, loving face. We have done so many happenings together and he was always there for me, with his unconditional love in difficult times.
Music has always helped me calm and comfort him. Especially when he felt anxious during thunderstorms and because of the fireworks. I was playing for him. He would lie down next to me with his head on my lap and listen to the guitar until he fell asleep. I feel lucky to have had it in my life, the bond we shared is indescribable. I love you Maple!
