President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in the midst of a pandemic coronavirus threw a Grand parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the great Patriotic war, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Browser.

During the parade, Lukashenko said that the tragedy of the Belarusian people, which made the loss and destruction of the most brutal war of the twentieth century, commensurate with any difficulties of the present. Therefore, even the idea to change traditions for the country is unacceptable, he said.
“In this crazy, lost world, there are people condemning us for the time and place of holding this sacred action. Want to tell them properly: not rush to conclusions, and especially to condemn us, the heirs of Victory, the Belarusians. We just couldn’t help it, we had no other choice. And if there were — we would have done the same!” Lukashenka said.

“Because we look at the eyes of the dead for our freedom of Soviet soldiers, eyes tortured in the dungeons of the Gestapo, partisans and underground fighters, the eyes of the elderly, women and children of Khatyn. They really wanted to live but died so we could live!” – added the President of Belarus.
