“We cannot allow a place that puts the lives of its attendees at risk to continue operating,” Vodanovic said after filing a protection appeal to prevent a new party at the Espacio Don Oscar, in which the national singer, Pailita, would participate.

The action of the municipality is based mainly on the risks to the safety of the residents that the celebration of said festival means.
“Despite having been the scene of shootings and homicides, not having an alcohol license and having seen part of his property closed for being a danger to Maipú, Don Oscar seeks legal loopholes and insists on continuing to put our neighbors at risk“, said Mayor Vodanovic.
“We are going to continue taking all paths possible for this place to stop working”, he added.
The appeal is the latest action by the municipality against the Don Óscar space, scene of murders in September and April of this year, as well as another death of high public notoriety in 2016.
