According to the ruling of the court, Soto Hernández was found guilty of the crimes of parricide, homicide and femicide in attempted degree. In other words, he had the intention of killing relatives and acquaintances, but it did not materialize due to other facts.
This was indicated by the prosecutor in charge, Joaquín Yañez, detailing that “the Oral Criminal Court of Osorno, carried out the reading of the conviction handed down against the defendant with the surnames Soto Hernández, as guilty of the crimes of homicide, parricide and attempted femicide”.
To the above, he added that he was also charged with & # 8220; crimes of less serious injuries and threats committed in the context of domestic violence“.
Furthermore, he added that these events occurred on January 27, 2021, and “managed to be accredited by the local Osorno Prosecutor's Office”.
Finally, in the opinion of the Public Ministry, it is a sanction proportional to the facts for which the accused was accused and which were corroborated.
