This is a new one, which almost seems built for the pleasure of the fans of the comics, both on the big screen it will not necessarily left a lasting memory. Actor Tony Revolori will be present in the third installment of Spider-Man for Marvel. It was already present in the first two embodying the character of Flash Thompson, at the time a fan of Spider-Man and rival/ nemesis made in high school Peter Parker. But this news could have real consequences narrative.
Spider-Man at the time of Sony ?
A point of view narrative, this 3rd episode takes a direction new to Spider-Man. In fact, his secret identity has been revealed at the end of the second movie by J. Jonah Jameson, the editor of the Daily Bugle. One would therefore have thought that the adventures in high school, belonged to the past, but it will not be the case. Beyond his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya), Peter Parker / Spider-Man will thus find Flash Thompson. But, it will remain there in a role of figuration ? Nothing is less certain if one turns to the comics.
In fact, Flash Thompson is a character that embodies Venom on the side of the literature. He succeeds notably Eddie Brock, a character played by Tom Hardy, in the film Venom for Sony. From there to see the famous transition brilliant touted by Tom Holland for taking out Spider-Man in the MCU, there is only a step. It embarquerait with him, Flash Thompson became the new Venom, to launch the series of movies at Sony.
If Tony Revolori is not necessarily to his advantage in Spider-Man, he has some fine roles to his credit, in the Grand Budapest Hotel, or Serving, the series is currently broadcast via Apple TV+. Entrust him with a second role in the Spider-Verse would, therefore, have nothing totally crazy…
