New York – Canadian hockey forward Connor McDavid from Edmonton has a 19-point lead over German teammate Leon Draisaitl as the NHL's productivity leader. Czech gunner David Pastrňák from Boston is fifth and loses 25 points to the leader. Among the scorers, Pastrňák is second with 39 goals and three goals behind McDavid.

McDavid is closing in on his third straight Art Ross Trophy for Canada's leading scorer and fifth overall in his career. In 55 games, he scored 99 points on 42 goals and 57 assists. Draisaitl has 31 goals and 49 assists in 53 games.
The Russian Nikita Kucherov from Tampa Bay is third with 78 points (21+57) from 54 duels, the fourth American Matthew Tkachuk from Florida has three points less (27+48) in the same portion of matches.
