Dubai – Daniil Medvedev won the tennis tournament in Dubai for his third title in three weeks. The champion from Rotterdam and Doha clearly defeated Andrei Rublev 6:2, 6:2 in the Russian final.

In the match for the title, the 27-year-old Medvedev followed up on Friday's semi-final win over world number one Novak Djokovic from Serbia, to whom he inflicted his first defeat of the season. He defeated Rublyov, who is two years younger, for the fifth time in his career, but after two previous losses.
7th-ranked Medvedev has completed a hat-trick of victories in tournaments on hard surfaces and has 18 career titles to his credit. He will try to extend his winning streak of 13 matches at the upcoming Masters in Indian Wells.
Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime won three tournaments in three weeks on the ATP Tour last October, and Casper Ruud from Norway did it in July 2021 .
