Prague – Midfielder Alex Král also withdrew from the Czech national football team on the way from Saturday's European Championship qualification match in the Faroe Islands. The management of the national team has already informed that the other six players from the original nomination will also miss Tuesday's preparatory match in Montenegro. Coach Jaroslav Šilhavý will have 15 outfield players and three goalkeepers at his disposal in Podgorica.

According to the press release of the national team, Král will not continue with the team, because the end of the Bundesliga season ended with minor health problems. On Saturday, in the 3-0 victory in the Faroe Islands, Union Berlin's new signing was not missing from the starting line-up and completed 89 minutes.
During the layover in Prague on the afternoon journey from Tórshavn to Podgorica, defenders Vladimír Coufal, Tomáš Holeš, David Jurásek and Ladislav Krejčí Jr. and forwards Václav Jurečka and Jan Kuchta also left the team based on a previous agreement with the clubs.
“They have had an extremely difficult season. Considering that we have training ahead of us in Montenegro and we want to give other players a chance, we decided to accommodate both these players themselves and their clubs. The agreement with Sparta and Slavia was in this completely problem-free,” said national team manager Tomáš Pešír.
“Hopefully even this small detail will help Sparta and Slavia to be well prepared for the new season. To be successful in European cups is also in the interest of the national team and all of Czech football,” added Pešír.
The national team will close the season with Tuesday's match in Montenegro. The national team will meet again in September, when the European qualification will start again. After three matches, the Czech team leads its group with seven points.
On Monday, the representatives will complete traditional pre-match training in Montenegro. The match will kick off on Tuesday at 18:00.
