The Ministry of Health (Minsal) reported 5,809 new cases of covid-19, of which 2,969 correspond to symptomatic people and 722 do not present symptoms.
In addition, 2,118 positive PCR tests were registered that were not notified.

Regarding deaths, according to the information provided by the DEIS, in the last 24 hours there were 35 deaths from causes associated with the coronavirus. The total number of deaths in the country amounts to 62,165.

The positivity for the last 24 hours at the country level is 15.51% and in the Metropolitan region it is 16.91%.
“We have 13 accommodation facilities (sanitary residences), with a total of 794 beds. The real occupancy at the national level is 41%, leaving a total of 337 beds available for use”, the Minsal said.
Thirteen regions decreased their cases in the last week
The Minsal also reported that new confirmed cases at the national level show a drop of 16% in the last week, while in the last 14 days the variation is 12%. Meanwhile, thirteen regions decreased their confirmed cases during the last week.
The case report for this Saturday, November 19, records 5,809 new cases of covid-19, with a positivity of 15, 51% in the last 24 hours nationwide, with 35,591 tests, PCR and antigen test. Daily positivity in the Metropolitan region is 16.91%.
Of the 5,809 new cases, 48% are diagnosed by antigen test, 41% originate by Active Case Search (BAC) and 20% of those notified are asymptomatic. As for the Metropolitan region, it presents 45% for antigen, 39% for BAC and 15% of the reported cases are asymptomatic.
According to sampling, the regions with the highest positivity in the last week are O’Higgins, Antofagasta, Valparaíso and Arica and Parinacota.
Meanwhile, the Ñuble region has the highest current incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants, followed by through the Atacama, Los Ríos and Aysén regions.
