Bled (Slovenia) – Lightweight rower Kristýna Neuhortová won the bronze medal at the European Rowing Championships thanks to a great finish. Romanian Ionela Cozmiucová rejoiced at the victory on Lake Bled, silver in the non-Olympic discipline was won by Evangelia Anastasiaduová from Greece.

The twenty-six-year-old coach Tomáš Kacovský, who won the World Cup race in Zagreb at the beginning of May, was last at the first split, but gradually moved forward. Five hundred meters before the finish line, she was fourth, but at the finish she managed to overtake Elis Özbayová from Turkey, who had a bad distribution of energy and ended up finishing fifth.

In addition to Neuhortová, Miroslav Vraštil and Jiří Šimánek in the lightweight double skiff and took fourth place on Saturday.

The other three Czech crews presented themselves in final B today and fought for 7th to 12th place. Skier Lenka Lukšová and Pavlína Flamíková and Radka Novotníková finished second in the pair without a coxswain and finished eighth overall. The double skiff of Michala Pospíšilová and Alice Prokešová took 5th place in the last appearance in Slovenia.
