London – In the 33rd round of the English league, Newcastle footballers won 4:1 at Everton and are in third place in the table. Team top scorer Callum Wilson scored twice. Two points back is fourth-placed Manchester United, who lost a two-goal lead and only drew 2-2 at fifth-placed Tottenham.

Wilson opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a quick finish to become the club's top scorer. In the 72nd minute, Joelinton increased the score, and soon Wilson scored his 13th goal in the league year with a technical attack.
The best defense of the competition was defeated only in the 80th minute by McNeil, whose cross from a corner kick flew into the net. A few seconds later, however, Isak weaved his way through four defenders and Murphy completed the interplay of substitute players.
