Newcastle won in the English league in Nottingham 2:1, both goals were scored by Isak

London – In the 28th round of the English league, Newcastle football players won 2:1 on the field of a newcomer from Nottingham. Alexander Isak decided the victory for the visiting team with two goals. He scored the winning goal in the third minute on a set-up from a penalty awarded for handball.

Newcastle were trailing after a Dennis strike, but Isak equalized in the first-half set-piece. The Swedish striker then secured the win for the guests at the very end after converting a penalty kick at the hands of Niakhate.

Newcastle won away from home after four games and is in fifth place, which is the last to guarantee European cups, with 47 points. He is separated by five points from sixth-placed Liverpool and seventh-placed Brighton. Nottingham have extended their winless streak to six rounds and are two points clear of the relegation zone in 14th place.
